Quality

UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO QUALITY

At Revision, our pace of innovation is rapid. This is all the more impressive because we rigorously test and retest all of our products, whether they are longstanding lines or new developments. Quality is embedded in everything we put our name on. We pride ourselves on our strict quality assurance processes for everything from incoming raw materials, to sourced components, to final inspections and lot sampling. State-of-the-art, certified labs located at each of our manufacturing facilities ensure that our eyewear and head protection systems are thoroughly tested throughout their development and manufacture. Revision has the ability to conduct impact and ballistic testing in-house, and these tests can be conducted in a variety of configurations to meet specific measures and protective requirements across and between regions internationally. Revision also has cutting-edge and proprietary equipment that tests a range of vital and singular product features—optical precision and alignment, to the integrity of advanced hybrid materials, to multi-layered lithium-ion safety measures, and beyond.

Quality is embedded in everything we do.

By placing such a premium on our quality assurance processes and procedures, Revision ensures that we are providing the best and most reliable products to military and tactical customers around the world. By centralizing product review and testing, we are able to maintain a tighter control over all variables and produce reliable products for scenarios and operations where there is no room for error. Revision is ISO 9001-2015 certified, and we work every day to maintain, and even surpass, the exacting regulations that define this stamp of approval. Revision utilizes the Company’s ISO 17025 accredited ballistic and impact labs to validate blunt, blast force, and fragmentation performance for eyewear, armor and head protection systems. These state-of-the art test ranges are equipped with instruments that ensure accurate measurement of projectile velocity and feature high speed camera systems that analyze material reactions to projectile impact. The Company also goes the extra mile to have products independently tested by third-party laboratories to further validate the accuracy of our in-house quality control measures.

Beyond traditional methods of product testing, Revision is known for creating custom testing equipment, allowing the Company to measure additional aspects of product performance that no one else can. For example, our Anti-Fog Characterization Apparatus (AFCA) is a proprietary, first-of-its-kind piece of equipment that allows Revision to test the Company’s OcuMax Plus anti-fog coating to ensure it is long-lasting and optimized for use in harsh environments. Revision has an unwavering commitment to raising the bar for product quality and performance, even if that means literally setting overlooked standards ourselves.
