Revision was founded in 2001 as an eyewear company. In 2019, when the Revision brand and eyewear business was sold to ASGARD Partners & Co and Merit Capital Partners, we were able to return to our heritage – designing, developing and manufacturing world class protective eyewear for men and women in uniform around the globe.
It’s easy to say Revision is just eyewear now. But we like to think we’re much more – we are Clearly Focused on Eyewear. With focus comes innovation. Now 100% owned and operated in the USA - our team is all under one roof. We’re all driving towards the same goal, more united, impassioned and dedicated than ever. Breathing new life into our culture and development efforts. Every decision and investment is made with the sole purpose of furthering the eyewear business, innovation and technology.

In our 53,000 square foot facility in Essex Junction, Vermont, we have a state-of-the-art manufacturing clean room which houses North America’s premier lens molding equipment and coating line. We are proud to say our employees assemble 100% of our eyewear in house. Our team of approximately 140 employees includes many Veterans, native Vermonters and new Americans. We all have immense pride in the impact of our work and we strive daily to provide the best protection to those who serve and protect all of us here at home and abroad.
Our users rely on our eyewear in life-or-death situations; they expect our eyewear to protect them and to get them home safely. We take this to heart from the beginning of the product life-cycle to the end. This duty to our users, the men and women who stand for us all, is always at the forefront of our minds. When forces the world over use products emblazoned with the Revision logo, we want them to know that this represents quality and reliability. That we are able to contribute to their brave actions is humbling and gratifying. We exist so soldiers, tactical forces and other users of Revision equipment can perform at their peak and prevail through the mission at hand. This is our charge; this is why we do what we do.
