Cobra Plus Head Protection System
FULLY INTEGRATED, FULLY MODULAR COBRA PLUS HEAD PROTECTION SYSTEM DESIGNED FOR UK TROOPS
In 2016, Revision Military will supply UK soldiers with new head sub-systems kit as part of the Virtus program. The custom head protection solution, known as the Batlskin Cobra Plus, is the lightest, most adaptable system ever made, providing premium head and face protection.
“Cobra Plus is the most versatile, lightweight head protective solution ever created.”
The Cobra Plus Helmet, with its new Modular Suspension System Liner, exceeds the UK’s stringent ballistic and impact helmet requirements and can be coupled with the Modular Protective Attachment System (MPAS) for full face, scalable protection. The fully integrated, fully modular suite allows soldiers to up armor with the Batlskin Visor and Ballistic Mandible Guard in high threat situations or scale down when only helmet and eye protection are needed.
The battle-tested ballistic Sawfly Military Spectacles or rugged Wolfspider Goggles provide fog-free, optically flawless, durable coverage when full face coverage is not required. This flexible facial protection solution is equally suitable meeting riot control scenarios as it is fulfilling different mission requirements on the battlefield.
“Revision is extremely pleased to have been selected to supply this technology-driven head protection system for UK soldiers” said Jonathan Blanshay, CEO, Revision Military. “This fully integrated and fully modular protective system is a result of intense R&D efforts and highest quality manufacturing. We are confident it offers the best in comfort, protection, durability and flexibility for the mission at hand whether on the battlefield or during peace-keeping assignments.”
BATLSKIN COBRA PLUS HELMET
The Batlskin Cobra Plus Helmet is the lightest helmet ever produced while still meeting stringent military ballistic and impact standards. The advanced, lightweight ballistic helmet shell, fitted with the Modular Suspension System – a fully adjustable liner and retention system designed to maximize comfort during long periods of wear – also carries an integrated front mount and mini rail system to attach NVG’s and accessories such as flashlights or cameras.
BATLSKIN MODULAR PROTECTION ATTACHMENT SYSTEM (MPAS)
The Batlskin Cobra Plus Modular Protection Attachment System is designed as a comprehensive system that can be tailored to the mission for peak performance. The Batlskin Front Mount, 3-position Visor, and Mandible Guard can be worn in any combination to achieve the ideal balance between protection and lethality.
SAWFLY MILITARY EYEWEAR SYSTEM
The Sawfly Military Eyewear System provides ultimate eye protection, exceeding military ballistic requirements, while providing flawless optics with optimal fit and comfort. The curved lens provides an unrestricted field-of-view and maximum ventilation, while the adjustable, ultra-thin arms and head strap ensure a perfect fit with hearing protection and communications headsets.
WOLFSPIDER GOGGLE SYSTEM
The Wolfspider Goggle has been precision engineered, designed to provide an uncompromised field-of-view, best-in-class ballistic protection and high performance frame technology for comfortable, extended wearability. Distortion-free flawless optics coupled with high performance OcuMax Plus coated lens ensure clear, accurate, fog-free vision for peak performance.
BLIND VETERANS UK PARTNERSHIP
Revision Military has proudly partnered with Blind Veterans UK (formerly St Dunstan’s), a charity that was founded in 1915 to help and support soldiers blinded in World War I that has gone on to support more than 35,000 blind veterans and their families, spanning from World War II to recent conflicts, including Iraq and Afghanistan.
As part of the partnership, Revision is the primary sponsor of Project Gemini, the Blind Veterans UK’s annual global exchange program between Blind Veterans UK and the U.S. Blinded Veterans Association (BVA). During the week-long exchange program, veterans travel from across the globe to meet with other ex-Servicemen and women who also lost their vision during combat to take responsibility, to learn and share experiences as well as to make new friends.
